Happening upon that spot, growth in the field, recognizing the reflection in the water, the rainbow or moment when a picture or view is what the artist who cannot help herself but try to capture the image.
I find beauty everywhere and everywhere my path takes me.
Days into planning a sunrise photoshoot I map out the location, confirm the time of sunrise, often getting up & out the door by 2am to allow for drive time, hiking to location & set-up. Visiting a public space or park there will be others. If it’s a beautiful mountain or lookout, people know about it. Using a flashlight I try to find the highest point and always have a cleaning cloth for the camera lens in case of morning cold or fog.
